Doggie Bandanas!!
I recently started a new project with my heat press! I was doing the doggie tees, but it was too complicated with all the different sizes, so I decided I need a one-size fits all concept. AND I thought of Doggie Bandanas.

DAILY BLOGGING!
Today I am going to officially update this blog on THE DAILY!! This will help me keep my life and projects organized! :)
I am currently working on a layout for Stewart Title. They are the leading provider of title insurance and related services to the real estate and mortgage industry. Unfortunately a few weeks back someone decided to take all the letters off their building. That's where we come in!
I suggested to her to do individual channel letters which are injection molded plastic cans with an acrylic face. This way we can drill the letters to the wall and its much harder for someone to take off. Hopefully she likes the idea.

Got some business cards in today for KTX Trucking and also STP Truck Plaza. They are glossy 16pt finish. Also, we print all our business cards on 30% recycled paper! :)

Also, just now I finally got a call back from the building department over at El Dorado County. It took too long to get this permit for Salon ETC. Tomorrow I can finally get it issued!! Then next week the sign is going up!

Energy to Ancestry
Just hung out on the patio with two of my bestest childhood friends, Terry and Susanne. I think the last time the three of us where together was in Seattle around late June 2009. It's amazing how long we've known each other and how it feels like the good ol' times when we reunite. Truly, my friends are my energy.
Speaking of energy, it has a lot of meaning in this world. We had great discussions about love, careers, futures, politics, energy and ancestry, etc. I guess the most intriguing part for me was the conversations about energy and ancestry.
I personally am not a very religious person. Its Good vs Evil in my book. No matter what religion, they all have similar teachings and morals. I believe its the energy we exert from our hearts and minds that creates our universe. We discussed the element of kung-fu and how that correlates to energy. I mean given enough energy and exercise to your mind, we'd be able to levitate or move things with the energy we exert from our body or spirit. That's why true kung-fu masters can break things with a simple hand movement or hurt someone with a simple touch or slight poke.
We only use no more than 8% of our brain power, thus... in the end, if we only used a few percent more... think of the possibilities. We might even be able to fly. haha Anyhoo.. its late for some deep thoughts like this. But I dont care... that's what blogging is for.
Next we talked about our ancestors and how our ancestors play a role in our life. Some times they are referred to as "ghosts" that watch over or also hold you back from important matters in your life. We all have ancestors from the past which is a beautiful thing. Some have a long history which they can track back while others only know so much about their family decent.
In the end, ancestors that may have had bad previous lives may be whispering thoughts and decisions into your head to warn you of the past experiences they may have had. They dont want you to make the same mistakes as they did. Ancestors also will want to come back to the earth and find their human bodies and live on. They can do show 3 years after their death based on the Dali Lama. Some are anxious for you to have children so they can return to earth and possibly better their new lifetime.
Its amazing that we all come from such deep history. Our veins are pumping with the same blood as someone who lived 1000 years ago. Its so mind boggling! A little part of me is in the history of my family and it flows through me in this lifetime. I may have never met or known them, but they are my ancestors and they flow thru me.
Before I call it a night, I'd like to simply say... please bring forth good energy to the earth as it will find you again either in this lifetime or in another.

Heat Press Experiments
So I've had my heat press for over 6 months and I finally decided to start on some prints. I have tested on standard tshirts for sisters dance crew TKO, baby onesies, and some cute dog tees. I am simply utilizing my Roland Verscamm Printer and using a ESM-HTM2 Heat Transfer Material and a clap heat press to bake the prints onto fabric. Its alot better than screen printing because I can use as many colors as I want. Its also a stretchy material and is suppose to last about 80+ washes! =) So far its been a lot of trail and error, but I do feel more confident about the results! =)

Its amazing all the wonderful feedback I am getting from family and friends! I guess I need to set up a pricing. My goal is to be fair and fresh! hehe Time will come and I will be ready to fully execute. I was just thinking about the possibilities: bags, decor, pillow cases, table clothes, etc...
I plan to move back to midtown/downtown this summer, so I will set up a space where I can have my creative space and elevate! <3
